About Us
Hendri van Heerden
Being the 3rd generation JH van Heerden and growing up on construction sites – construction is in my blood.
I started of studying for a draftsman and began working as a draftsman in 2005 for a steel fabrication company.
The company evolved and so did my responsibilities.
Over the next 17 years I was part of some amazing projects in and around the Western Cape with some as far
as Indonesia & Uganda. Managing construction projects and the daily running of the fabrication & installation teams for
the company up to the end of 2021. The dream of starting my own company has been lingering
for some time and so JH van Heerden Projects was born.
Hennie van Heerden
Senior Project Manager is the 2nd generation business owner that has been involved in the civil, building & related
construction disciplines for 5 decades. Starting my career in 1971 as a construction foreman
and came through the ranks and has spent a total of 40yrs+ in the civil construction industry.
The civil/building industry have changed tremendously during the last few decades with the emphasis on speciality
HOWEVER the basic principles of quality, cost efficiency and completion of time are not negotiable.
